Full Job Description
Align HCM is seeking an experienced UKG TeleStaff Consultant to join our growing UKG Public Sector practice. In this role, you will lead end-to-end implementations of UKG TeleStaff for Public Safety organizations, guiding clients from discovery through go-live and post-production support.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing UKG TeleStaff as both a standalone solution and integrated with UKG Pro Workforce Management and/or UKG Ready Time. This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong implementation expertise, business consulting skills, and the ability to mentor other consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle implementations of UKG TeleStaff, including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Facilitate client workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable TeleStaff solutions.
  • Configure and deploy UKG TeleStaff based on client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Design, implement, and support TeleStaff integrations with UKG Pro Workforce Management and/or UKG Ready Time.
  • Develop data mapping and support integrations with payroll, ERP, CAD/RMS, and other third-party systems.
  • Lead unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, integration documentation, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
  • Provide consulting guidance on Public Safety scheduling, staffing, overtime, callback management, and workforce optimization.
  • Mentor and support other TeleStaff consultants while sharing implementation best practices.
  • Partner with clients and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on UKG TeleStaff implementation experience.
  • Proven experience implementing UKG TeleStaff as both a standalone application and integrated with UKG Pro Workforce Management and/or UKG Ready Time.
  • Experience supporting Public Safety organizations, including Police, Fire, EMS, or Corrections.
  • Experience leading single and multi-institution TeleStaff implementations.
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting TeleStaff integrations.
  • Strong experience facilitating client workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into system solutions.
  • Excellent consulting, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants and collaborate effectively within project teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • UKG TeleStaff Certification.
  • Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management or UKG Ready.
  • Additional UKG certifications.
  • Experience integrating TeleStaff with ERP, payroll, CAD/RMS, or other enterprise systems.
  • Experience delivering multiple concurrent implementation projects.
