Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Administrator of Operations for University Correctional Health Care. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Program Administrator of Operations will work to develop and implement procedures and work flows to ensure the efficient delivery of logistical and administrative services for UCHC.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Takes the lead to organize clinical and administrative aspects of all assigned projects for assigned geographical region.
- Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Accreditation, participates in the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare's re-accreditation preparation process as a team leader for assigned geographical region.
- Attends, participates, and conducts meetings relevant to administrative functions.
- Develops procedures to improve current service delivery and creation of procedures for new initiatives.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends of Department of Corrections, Rutgers, UCHC and UBHC policies and procedures.
- Effectively contributes to and supports an environment that enhances the goals and objectives of Department of Corrections, Rutgers, UCHC, and UBHC.
- Demonstrates awareness of Department of Corrections, Rutgers, and UCHC policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience - Master's Degree in a related field such as administration or healthcare
- Plus five (5) years of professional-level experience in a government agency, University setting or large business office.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisoryexperience
Certifications/Licenses - Valid DriversLicense is required. Possesses own vehicle to travel between sites
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Advanced computer and word processing skills are required, specifically with Microsoft Suite.
