Responsibilities

  • Lead expansion and provide strategic leadership for the company, managing a team of experienced trust officers and administrative teams.
  • Manage client life insurance trusts with affiliate companies.
  • Serve as primary regulatory contact with the South Dakota Division of Banking.
  • Prepare for regulatory exams, audits, and ongoing compliance reporting.
  • Lead internal compliance efforts, including BSA/AML programs and risk management frameworks.
  • Review documents for legal and fiduciary compliance relating to various types of trusts.
  • Draft Non-Judicial Settlement Agreements and other fiduciary documents.
  • Participate in board and audit committee meetings, contributing to governance and oversight.

Full Job Description
A well-established and forward-thinking trust company is seeking a strategic and experienced executive to serve as its next President. This individual will be responsible for leading the organization's overall operations, regulatory compliance, client service delivery, and long-term growth strategy

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead expansion and provide strategic leadership for the company, manage a team of experienced trust officers and administrative teams
  • Manage client life insurance trusts with affiliate companies
  • Serve as primary regulatory contact with the South Dakota Division of Banking
  • Prepare for regulatory exams, audits and ongoing compliance reporting
  • Lead internal compliance efforts, including BSA/AML programs and risk management frameworks.
  • Review documents for legal and fiduciary compliance relating to various types of trusts
  • Draft Non-Judicial Settlement Agreements along with other fiduciary documents
  • Uphold risk management and internal audit framework
  • Safeguard client assets, and company operations by implementing necessary controls and operational risk assessments
  • Participate in board and audit committee meetings, contributing to governance and oversight.
  • Ability to be in office at least 3 days a week
