Trenchless Construction Project Manager Build something that matters with Municipal Pipe Tool, A Vortex Company! We're looking for a driven Trenchless Construction Project Manager to lead meaningful infrastructure projects across Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. If you're a confident leader, sharp problem solver, and detail-focused professional who enjoys bringing projects from kickoff to closeout, this is your opportunity to make an impact. You'll guide planning, budgets, schedules, field coordination, documentation, and project execution while helping deliver high-quality work that supports the communities we serve. What You'll Do: • Lead by example by modeling, training, and living our core values. • Set clear project objectives while following company procedures, performance standards, and contract specifications. • Manage procurement, processes, materials, supplies, and project inventory. • Drive projects forward by allocating resources and keeping work on schedule. • Interpret plans, specifications, and contract terms while building positive relationships with staff, customers, and subcontractors. • Prepare, review, negotiate, and approve project pay estimates at least every 30 days, while compiling support for change orders. • Identify and manage project risks by coordinating with teams, customers, and subcontractors to support safe, high-quality outcomes. • Oversee on-site lead personnel to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Manage change orders strategically to protect project profitability and issue supplemental orders to subcontractors and suppliers. • Develop recovery plans when schedules shift or unexpected challenges arise. • Review daily reports, updated shot schedules, and job files to maintain accurate project documentation. • Conduct field investigations to evaluate project quality, crew performance, and safety compliance. • Bring projects across the finish line by completing punch list items, final pay requests, releases, early retainage release when possible, and closeout within 60 days. • Travel throughout the Midwest is required.
