Position SummaryThe Tree Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution of all tree service operations. This person manages subcontractor performance, coordinates multiple active projects, ensures scopes of work are clearly understood, keeps homeowners informed, resolves field issues, and continually builds our subcontractor network.
Key ResponsibilitiesSubcontractor Management- Manage daily schedules of multiple subcontractor crews.
- Ensure every crew clearly understands the scope before arriving.
- Monitor quality, productivity, and safety.
- Resolve field issues quickly.
- Maintain strong subcontractor relationships.
Project Coordination- Coordinate dozens of active projects simultaneously.
- Schedule efficiently and resolve conflicts.
- Confirm equipment, materials, permits, and job details.
Customer Experience- Serve as the operational contact for homeowners.
- Provide proactive communication and resolve concerns.
- Ensure clean jobsites and customer satisfaction.
Quality Control- Verify work matches scope.
- Conduct quality inspections.
- Minimize callbacks and rework.
Subcontractor Recruiting- Recruit and vet qualified tree service subcontractors.
- Build a reliable pipeline of backup crews.
Process Improvement- Improve scheduling, communication, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years managing field operations, construction, landscaping, tree service, or similar.
- Experience coordinating multiple crews.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications- Tree service experience.
- Knowledge of tree trimming/removal operations.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
- Spanish bilingual preferred.
- CRM or Field Service software experience.

CompensationSalary: $75,000-$95,000 plus performance bonus tied to customer satisfaction, quality, gross margin, utilization, and safety.
