JOB SUMMARY
The Treasury Sr. Analyst – Global Leasing & Capital Markets is responsible for supporting Jabil’s global capital leasing strategy to meet the company’s manufacturing, automation, technology, and real estate investment objectives.
Working across Business Units, Commercial Finance, Treasury, Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Operations, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and FP&A, this role evaluates, structures, negotiates, and executes financing solutions that optimize capital expenditures, improve Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), enhance free cash flow, and strengthen Jabil’s balance sheet.
As Treasury’s subject matter expert for equipment and real estate leasing, the successful candidate will influence investment decisions before capital is deployed by delivering financial analysis, commercial recommendations, and innovative financing strategies that maximize shareholder value. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Capital Strategy & Commercial Finance
Support Jabil’s global capital leasing strategy covering manufacturing equipment, automation, technology investments, and corporate real estate initiatives.
Partner with Business Units and Commercial Finance to evaluate financing alternatives during capital planning and investment approval.
Advise leadership on lease-versus-buy decisions and financing structures that optimize ROIC, free cash flow, capital efficiency, and balance sheet performance.
Develop strategic recommendations supporting enterprise capital allocation and long-term growth initiatives.
Transaction Execution
Originate, structure, negotiate, and execute equipment leasing, synthetic leases, sale-leasebacks, build-to-suit financings
Manage the complete transaction lifecycle from opportunity identification through financial analysis, due diligence, documentation, approvals, funding, and closing.
Partner with Treasury management in building and maintaining relationships with commercial banks, equipment finance providers, institutional lenders, and other financing partners.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, documentation, and financing agreements while identifying new capital market opportunities.
Financial Analysis & Portfolio Management
Develop financial models supporting lease-versus-buy analyses, discounted cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROIC, capital allocation, and scenario analysis.
Evaluate financing alternatives considering liquidity, leverage, accounting treatment, tax implications, cost of capital, covenant compliance, residual value risk, and overall shareholder value.
Manage Jabil’s global lease portfolio, including refinancing opportunities, lease maturities, performance reporting, and portfolio optimization.
Develop executive dashboards and performance metrics supporting strategic decision-making.
Treasury Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner with Accounting, Tax, Legal, Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Operations, and FP&A to deliver integrated financing solutions.
Collaborate with Corporate Accounting to ensure financing strategies appropriately consider ASC 842, IFRS 16, SEC reporting requirements, and other applicable accounting standards.
Present financing recommendations to executive leadership and provide guidance on emerging capital markets, financing trends, and investment opportunities.
Drive process improvements, reporting automation, and standardization of global leasing practices through Treasury technology and analytics.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate combines expertise in Treasury, Commercial Finance, Lease Accounting, and Capital Markets with the ability to translate technical financial knowledge into strategic business decisions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Corporate Treasury, Capital Markets, Commercial Finance, Equipment Finance, Lease Accounting (ASC 842 / IFRS 16), Corporate Banking, or Commercial Real Estate Finance.
Strong financial modeling skills including lease-versus-buy analysis, discounted cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROIC, and capital allocation.
Experience structuring equipment leasing, synthetic leases, sale-leasebacks, or other complex financing transactions.
Demonstrated success negotiating with financial institutions and managing commercial banking relationships.
Proficiency with SAP, Treasury Management Systems, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Bloomberg, Lease Accounting Systems, lease reporting systems and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and project management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
MBA, CPA, CFA, CTP, preferred
3-5 years of progressive experience in Corporate Treasury, Commercial Finance, Public Accounting, Capital Markets, Lease Accounting, Equipment Finance, Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance.
Experience supporting equipment leasing, commercial real estate financing, or other structured financing transactions preferred.
Experience within a multinational manufacturing organization is highly desirable.
