Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides strategic leadership in developing, expanding, and retaining Treasury relationships with commercial clients. Partners with Commercial Bankers and enterprise stakeholders to deliver integrated Treasury solutions that enhance liquidity, optimize cash management, and drive revenue growth. Combines deep product expertise with a consultative approach to identify opportunities, influence strategic decisions, and strengthen long-term client relationships while supporting the Bank's overall growth objectives.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increases Treasury Management revenue through client acquisition, retention, and expansion strategies. Actively prospects new commercial clients while deepening relationships with existing customers.
  • Initiates strategic discussions around client priorities, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarks, opportunity analysis, and tailored solution recommendations.
  • Partners with Commercial Bankers and clients at senior levels to deliver integrated Treasury solutions within a consultative, client-focused framework.
  • Conducts consultative client calls and presentations to demonstrate product value, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate Treasury Management services.
  • Provides pricing strategies, proposal support, and product expertise to strengthen the sales process and ensure competitive positioning.
  • Leads business process reviews aligned with key sales opportunities, engaging the Director of Treasury Management on complex or enterprise-level client needs.
  • Monitors client satisfaction and product utilization, addressing issues promptly and identifying opportunities to expand Treasury relationships.
  • Ensures Treasury sales activities adhere to bank policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of Treasury products, digital banking platforms, and market trends to deliver informed recommendations and enhance client value.
  • Represents the bank's Treasury expertise through thought leadership at client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional forums.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Extensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, digital banking platforms, credit and risk processes, and pricing philosophy. Experience developing and expanding commercial client relationships through consultative sales, strategic thinking, and the delivery of tailored Treasury solutions. Strong ability to build and sustain influential relationships with clients, colleagues, external centers of influence (COIs), and consulting partners. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Capability to manage complex sales cycles, interpret financial data, and align strategies with organizational objectives. Skilled in adopting and leveraging technologies to enhance efficiency, communication, and task management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is often performed in an office environment.

Required to travel locally. Ability to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer, exchange information, move inside and outside the workplace for business purposes. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in accordance with Webster Five's Remote Work Policy.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 10 years experience in Commercial Banking/Treasury Management.
