Role Overview
As a Treasury Consultant, you will serve as a senior sales advisor responsible for managing a portfolio of public sector clients and prospects, driving revenue growth, and delivering comprehensive treasury solutions. This role requires strategic relationship management, consultative selling, and collaboration across internal teams to ensure exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of public sector clients by identifying treasury needs and delivering tailored solutions. Achieve/exceed key objectives and goals for sales production, new relationships, cross-selling and portfolio growth.
Partner with Relationship Managers to deepen existing customer relationship and convert prospective clients through strategic account planning and joint calling.
Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations to support new business opportunities and deepen TPS relationships.
Regularly call on clients to conduct business reviews, address issues, and provide insights on liquidity management, payment optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.
Analyze financial, company, and industry data to determine the needs of the client for proper structuring of the Bank's Treasury products and services.
Partner with Service and Onboarding teams to ensure seamless client implementations and ongoing support.
Monitor portfolio performance, analyze data, and provide insights to drive client success.
Maintain accurate records and reporting to track performance and client activity on Salesforce.
Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance, mitigating risk and maintaining service standards.
Attends industry forums and community events, enhancing the Bank’s brand, staying updated on market trends, and leveraging insights to support sales strategies.
Coach Treasury Advisors and Portfolio Managers on skills required to progress to Treasury Consultant role
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
8+ years of experience in treasury management sales within banking or fintech, with corporate treasury practitioner experience strongly preferred.
Experience of Commercial Real Estate
Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver consultative solutions.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; proficiency with Excel and reporting tools.
Deep knowledge of treasury products, payment systems, and cash management strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
