Full Job Description
Description

You do not just show up at construction sites. You run them!

Gibian LLC is seeking a proven Traveling Superintendent who is built for complexity, leads without hesitation, and takes ownership of delivering commercial projects on time, on budget, and done right. If you are the type who steps onto a jobsite and instantly knows what needs to move, this role was made with you in mind. This is not a behind-the-desk position. You will be boots on the ground, calling the shots across a portfolio of commercial construction projects stretching up and down the East Coast from New York to North Carolina. No two projects are the same. No two days are the same. And you will have the authority, the backing, and the resources to handle whatever comes at you.

What the Role Looks Like:

You will manage day-to-day field operations across active commercial projects, keeping timelines locked in, budgets in check, and quality standards non-negotiable. You will coordinate and direct subcontractors, act as the primary point of contact for owners and clients on the ground, and get ahead of problems before they turn into delays.

If you are ready for a role where your track record carries weight, your decisions matter, and every day looks a little different, let's connect.

Compensation:
  • Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000
  • 401(k) with matching employer contribution up to 4% (after 1 year)
  • Paid Time Off
  • Mileage Reimbursement: The company reimburses for mileage beyond 50 miles daily at the IRS rate (currently, .70 per mile).
  • Per Diem: A small per diem for food.

Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee daily field operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues to prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on project goals.

Qualifications
• Experience in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including second or third shifts
• Proven track record of leading field operations and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
• Ability to act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing regular updates.
• Strong commitment to implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Proficiency in monitoring project progress and proactively identifying potential issues to prevent delays.
• Experience in maintaining accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Ability to facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on project goals.
