Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or construction science, or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of extensive experience in construction design, finance, and management
• Deep understanding of corporate and industry practices affecting projects
• Proven project management skills in documentation, cost control, and procurement
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy
• OSHA-30 certification required within six months of hire
• Proficient in MS Office and willingness to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical projects up to $10 million in collaboration with project superintendent
• Evaluate contracts and organize project staffing with regional department heads
• Set project objectives and standards within corporate policies
• Coordinate with clients and A/E contacts to ensure smooth construction activities
• Negotiate and issue subcontracts and manage financial aspects of contracts
• Monitor project development and maintain schedules and budgets
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
