Qualifications

• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current RN license for the state of practice
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• WOCN certification recommended for certain roles
• Preferred additional specialty-related certifications
• At least 2 years of RN experience in a Med-Surg hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wound care management and treatment
• Monitor and assess patient wounds regularly
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques
• Coordinate with healthcare teams for optimal wound healing
• Document patient care and progress accurately
