Our therapists are actively involved in advanced respiratory care including mechanical ventilation management, non-invasive ventilation, airway management, and emergency response.

Respiratory therapists gain hands-on experience with modern respiratory equipment, including Servo-i Ventilator mechanical ventilators and Philips V60 Ventilator systems for non-invasive ventilation. The department also provides experience with specialized therapies such as nitric oxide delivery using the NoxBox Nitric Oxide Delivery System.

Therapists play an active role in a variety of advanced bedside procedures, including:
• Assisting with endotracheal intubation
• Participating in bedside bronchoscopy procedures
• Managing mechanical and non-invasive ventilation
