Qualifications

• Must have one of the following: current WV TRET Level IV/V certification (or ability to obtain within six months)
• Alternatively, hold current WV TRET Level III certification with three years of highway construction experience
• Or possess an AS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a similar technical field with five years of relevant experience
• Alternatively, earn a BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or comparable discipline
• Or maintain Level IV NICET Certification with ten years of highway construction experience
• Preferred: Demonstrated experience with AASHTOWare Project, CPM schedule reviews, and certifications like WVDOH Materials or ACI Field Testing

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management support for highway transportation projects
• Manage and document the work of construction inspection staff
• Review contractors’ schedules to ensure timely project milestones
• Represent TRC at client meetings to communicate project details and updates
• Review plans and records, initiate change orders, and prepare time extensions as needed
• Ensure timely project closeout, including the certification of materials
