The
Transformation Strategy Lead is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational transformation across Group Benefits. This role focuses on assessing and improving end-to-end processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and advancing modernization through process redesign, automation, and AI enablement. This individual will leverage our customer journeys to assess current workflows, identify opportunities to optimize the way we work in support of our customers, and lead the design and execution of transformational changes across the Group Business
You Are- A strategic operator with deep experience in end to end transformation and process optimization
- Highly analytical and able to identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Experienced working across matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders while leading large-scale transformation initiatives end-to-end
- A strong communicator with the ability to influence senior leadership
You Will- Lead end to end transformation initiatives across the Group Benefits business
- Evaluate end-to-end workflows to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
- Design and implement future-state operating models leveraging process redesign, workflow orchestration, and automation
- Develop business cases, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans
- Partner cross-functionally with business functions, technology, and drive execution and ensure adoption of new processes and operating models
- Support development of governance frameworks, playbooks, and change management strategies
- Deliver executive-ready presentations and updates tied to transformation progress and impact
You Have- 7+ years of experience in management consulting, transformation, or business strategy within the Insurance Industry, preferably Group
- Experience leading large-scale operational transformation initiatives
- Strong background in process redesign and workflow optimization
- Exposure to automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
LOCATIONThis is a hybrid role within commutable distance to a Guardian Life hub location, with preference for New York, Bethlehem, or Boston.
Salary Range:$152,290.00 - $250,195.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
