This role bridges strategy and execution, supporting transformation initiatives that deliver measurable and sustainable results. Responsible for tracking initiatives, milestones, and risks for transformational improvement initiatives totaling >$150M in NOI and large-scale organizational changes. Working closely with the Transformation Management, Enterprise Project Management, Strategy Development, and Leadership Development teams. This position collaborates with CentraCare leaders by providing analysis of value creation opportunities, developing materials that support the presentation of cases for change, supporting problem solving using analytical tools and frameworks that develop solutions to complex business challenges, and providing system-level measurement and reporting.

Schedule:
  • Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Mon-Fri Days
  • Hybrid of at-home and in-office at the St. Cloud Hospital

Pay and Benefits:
  • Starting pay begins at $82,305.60 per year and increases with experience.
  • Salary range: $82,305.60-$123,448.00per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required (project management, business administration, management, health care, or related field); Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Master's degree or minimum of 3 years' experience with Bachelor's degree; Transformation Management, Project Management, Consulting, or Business Planning experience, preferably in a large, complex health care organization required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

  • Exposure to transformation methodologies and performance improvement tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High comfort level with ambiguity and leading teams through the process of getting to tangible deliverables.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, quantitative and analytic skills.
  • Ability to navigate organizational politics.

Core Functions:
  • Supports large-scale organizational changes such as identifying opportunities, building the business case for change, assisting in defining the action steps/workplans, and identify and create risk mitigation plans.
  • Supports exploration and due diligence relating to new project concepts and initiatives, translating operational and industry intelligence into the business case development.
  • Provides recommendations or options to CentraCare leaders based on analysis and findings that support definitive, data-driven decision making.
  • Supports implementation focused on service line restructuring, growth strategies, or other transformational improvement changes.
  • Utilizes change management strategies which drives higher efficiency and effectiveness and increased change adoption.
  • Proactively works with cross-functional teams to understand the impact of changes on different departments and ensure that transformation goals are aligned across the organization.
  • Supports the development of impact analyses to assess stakeholder readiness for tactical changes and change adoption.
  • Leverages frameworks and approaches that can be leveraged across projects and modified to the defined purpose to accelerate speed to insights and results.
  • Actively champions and contributes to the continuous improvement of healthcare best practices, using innovative ideas to increase effectiveness of the overall organization.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in scope definition, risk identification, resource allocation, facilitation and other areas of expertise based on leading practice project management techniques and methodologies.
  • Works effectively with business partners, vendors and staff to develop agendas and ensure agreement/adoption of objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive communication to initiative owner(s) and sponsor(s). Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan. Effectively manage client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
  • Establishes and nurtures strong client and business partner relationships while also developing and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Provides transparency and manage integrated work plans to CentraCare organizational leaders for all projects in Transformation Management portfolio.
  • Monitors overall financial impact of projects within the Transformation Management portfolio work and appropriate reporting for the Exec Director, Enterprise Projects, Transformation, and Analytics, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
