Full Job Description
Due to growth we are seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Manager to join our firm based in our Providence, RI or Boston, MA office on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from planning through delivery
  • Analyze target company financials and operating data to identify key trends, risks, and value drivers, including:
    • Historical and projected financial, operational, and commercial performance
    • Quality of earnings adjustments and EBITDA normalization
    • Working capital trends and debt-like items
    • Potential liabilities and transaction-related risks impacting valuation
  • Identify pre- and post-acquisition considerations, including operational and financial integration risks
  • Drive key deal insights, including purchase price adjustments, deal structuring considerations, and transaction risks
  • Evaluate business models, revenue streams, and cost structures to assess overall transaction viability
  • Prepare and review comprehensive due diligence reports, including Quality of Earnings, working capital, and other transaction analyses
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with valuation, tax, IT, and other advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, including target management, investment bankers, and legal advisors
  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to senior leadership, clients, and deal teams
  • Contribute to the development of training programs, enhancement of due diligence methodologies, and adherence to firm quality and compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with private equity firms and/or portfolio companies preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of cash, modified cash, and accrual (GAAP) accounting, including cash-to-accrual conversions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Macabacus and QuickBooks preferred
  • Solid general business acumen, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and internal teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight transaction deadlines


This is a full-time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required during peak busy seasons.

Pay Range:

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range do not include benefits and bonus potential, and are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.

$120,000.00 - $140,000.00
