Full Job Description
Siemens, a global powerhouse, needs Training Team Lead for the 1st Shift to join their Fort Worth, TX, plant. The Lead Supervisor is the key driver of all daily production training-related processes. The hub of information transfer between the hourly assembly training workforce and Management, with a focus on achieving daily production-related processes and addressing facility training needs. You will make an impact by: • Improve safety for all personnel who work in and around production lines and training areas. • Drive initiatives to reduce production errors, improve quality, and increase productivity • Adhere to the production schedule, assigning personnel to work areas, monitoring progress, resolving line constraint problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries • Carry out training programs according to production needs • Conduct annual employee performance reviews • Maintain a relationship with the local union by following the collective bargaining agreement • Support performance measurement and documentation of manufacturing processes • Drive continuous improvement projects • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs for production employees at all skill levels. • Evaluate training needs through performance data, supervisor feedback, and operational goals. • Partner with production leadership to align training initiatives with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. • Lead onboarding programs to ensure new hires are fully prepared for production roles. • Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. • Drive continuous improvement by assessing training effectiveness and adjusting content or methods as needed. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop job aids, standard work instructions, and digital learning materials. • Coach and mentor trainers on best practices for skill development and performance management. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • Mechanical Aptitude with experience using hand tools • Project Management Experience • Proficient with Microsoft Office products. • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continuous and permanent basis without company sponsorship. • Bachelor's degree in industrial management, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of experience in training, production supervision, or manufacturing leadership. • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and hands-on training techniques. • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
