Job Summary:

To support the expanded application of Nova Biomedical's Artel portfolio and continued growth of our customer base throughout the country, we are seeking a Training & Support Specialist for our Technical Services team.

The Training & Support Specialist is responsible for delivering customer certification programs, providing technical training and support, performing system installations and validations, and serving as a trusted technical resource for customers using Artel products and technologies. This role works closely with internal teams and customers to improve liquid handling accuracy, support regulated workflows, and drive adoption of Artel's industry-leading laboratory solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Artel's Pipetting Technique Certification and Pipette Quality Management Certification programs through engaging presentations and one-on-one coaching.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Perform Artel system installations, validations, and customer training both onsite and remotely.
  • Train internal teams on new products, software updates, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training content and maintain current training materials.
  • Troubleshoot Artel hardware, software, and workflow-related customer issues.
  • Support and participate in trade shows, conferences, customer demonstrations, and events.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding customer support and satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively to customer locations to deliver training and technical support.

Experience Requirements:
  • Proven success developing training materials and delivering technical training programs.
  • Experience working independently in customer-facing environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and laboratory workflows.
  • Experience working within regulated laboratory environments including GMP, GLP, and ISO systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience building strong customer relationships and delivering consultative support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, presentation software, and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel commitments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel as required (including air and ground transportation).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle as needed for job responsibilities.
  • Able to store, transport materials, samples, or demonstration equipment (up to ~25 pounds).
  • Comfort with standing and engaging with customers for extended periods.
  • Ability to adapt to varying work environments (e.g., customer sites, laboratories, offices).

Work Location: Hybrid work schedule on-site in Westbrook, ME

Targeted Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000/year
