Full Job Description
Amentum is seeking a Training Specialist for a prime contract in Linthicum, MD that provides enterprise support for the DoD 8140 program to ensure all contractors, military and civilian personnel obtain and maintain qualifying certifications that are aligned with their positions.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with civilian, contractor, and military personnel to inform and ensure they complete required certifications.
  • Communicate with division chiefs and CORs/COR-Ts to ensure they provide determinations and updates for contractor personnel.
  • Enter certification related information into database for tracking and status.
  • Develop program guidelines, processes and procedures for the team.
  • Provided metrics and manage CWIP program goals for the division.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.


Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in a related professional field or a master's degree and 3 years' experience. The following years' experience may be substituted with the following different education credentials: 9 years related experience with a High School/GED OR associate degree


Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/Poly

Compensation Details:
$110,000 - $118,000
