The Training Coordinator for the Biostatistics & Research Decision Sciences (BARDS) organization supports the BARDS Training & Professional Development Lead by coordinating the administration, operational execution, and continuous support of BARDS training programs and learning systems. This role serves as a primary point of contact for learning management system administration and helps ensure accurate training records, timely learner support, and effective delivery of instructor-led and virtual training. The role also supports training compliance, evaluation, content maintenance, and issue resolution in alignment with established standards, governance, and the expectations of a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a point of contact for learning management system administration, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant support of:
    • Curriculum and course management
    • Class scheduling and roster management
    • Job code management
    • Training assignments
  • Support training compliance and reporting by running standard and ad hoc reports, tracking curriculum completion and learner responses, issuing training reminders, and helping maintain accurate documentation.
  • Enable implementation and delivery of class offerings, including course announcements, BARDS Training mailbox support, participant communications, and coordination of logistics for instructor-led and virtual sessions.
  • Support training evaluation activities, including evaluation form development, implementation, response tracking, and summarization of findings to inform continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update training-related web content, ensuring information remains current, accurate, and aligned with approved materials.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support consistent execution of learning processes, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure learning activities are implemented in accordance with established standards, governance, and applicable procedures.
  • Provide additional departmental support for Office of BARDS activities, such as manager network coordination and employee engagement activities, as needs arise and bandwidth permits.


Education and Minimum Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required in a scientific, technical, business, communications, education or related discipline.


Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, apply sound judgment, resolve operational issues, and maintain strong attention to detail, data accuracy, system integrity, and adherence to established processes and governance.
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret stakeholder needs, coordinate across functions, and support resolution of emerging issues.
  • Experience supporting training administration or training operations, including training assignments, curricula, rosters, learner communications, and related documentation.
  • Experience supporting instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training (ILT/VILT), maintaining training materials and web-based content (e.g., SharePoint), and providing coordination for department-wide events.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including strong working knowledge of Excel for tracking, reporting, and data review.


Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry, supporting training administration, learning operations, or related business processes.
  • Experience supporting instructional design and training initiatives, including content development, course design support, and project coordination activities such as tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience supporting virtual instructor-led training (VILT) as a producer or co-facilitator using Microsoft Teams or similar platforms, including use of interactive tools (e.g., chat, polling, breakout rooms, screen sharing, and recording).
  • Experience supporting onboarding and orientation programs, including logistics, learner communications, and maintenance of onboarding materials.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint for content development and maintenance and Forms for survey development and reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI to support workflows, automation, reporting, dashboards, or data visualization related to training or operations.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and build productive working relationships with stakeholders across functions.

The salary range for this role is
$87,300.00 - $137,400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
