The Opportunity

Build the future of mobility with us.
As a Traffic Analyst, you'll help shape safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation networks across Ontario. You'll join our Transportation Planning team, where global expertise meets local impact, contributing to projects that improve capacity, enhance safety, and guide long-term mobility planning.

Based in our GTA offices, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, public agencies, and community stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that influence decisions across the province.

Your Impact
  • Analyze and compile transportation and traffic data to support planning and engineering decisions
  • Perform traffic operations studies, including modelling using Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, Aimsun Next, and other industry-standard tools
  • Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic signal evaluations, intersection improvement reviews, and safety assessments
  • Prepare clear, compelling technical reports and present findings to clients, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with clients and the public to advance project outcomes
  • Support public meetings and consultations, helping communities understand transportation solutions
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to junior colleagues as needed

  • Post-secondary education in Civil or Transportation Engineering from an accredited institution
  • PEO licensing in Ontario
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in traffic engineering, including travel demand forecasting, operations analysis, and safety analysis
  • Proficiency with traffic simulation modelling (Aimsun Next, VISSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic, SYDRA, ARCADY) and travel demand modelling (EMME, TransCAD)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting complex technical concepts
  • Programming skills (VBA, Python, C#, etc.) are an asset for developing modelling tools and automation


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
