About the Project:

The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometres farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.

Position Overview:

We are currently looking for an experienced Traffic and Transit Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of traffic and transit infrastructure components on the ECWE-SRS project. The successful candidate will ensure all construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage traffic and transit construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress.
  • Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Implement and oversee traffic management plans to ensure public safety and minimal disruption to transit operations.
  • Monitor project performance, budget, and schedule, providing timely reports and updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments.
  • Resolve construction-related issues and provide technical guidance to the project team.
