Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Trade Show Specialist to support the planning, execution, and post-event follow-up of key trade shows and industry events. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality event experiences that elevate our brand, engage customers, and support sales and marketing objectives across our portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, serving as a trusted execution partner to cross-functional teams.

*This is a hybrid role, working 4 days/week in the Anoka office.*

WHAT YOU WILLEXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Event Planning and Execution 

  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned trade shows, managing detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets in partnership with Event Leads.

  • Coordinate internal partners and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.

  • Prepare kick-off materials, planning documents, and status updates to keep teams aligned. 

  • Develop and distribute pre-show materials, including exhibit guides and planning reports, in collaboration with Product Management. 

  • Execute post-show follow-up activities, including lead management, performance tracking, and reporting. 

 

Logistics and Vendor Coordination 

  • Register for events and secure booth space and required services. 

  • Coordinate all on-site logistics, including booth services, shipping, utilities, internet, cleaning, equipment, and staffing. 

  • Manage shipping of exhibits, promotional materials, literature, and supplies.

  • Arrange hotels, transportation, team meals, and customer event access as needed.

  • Order promotional materials, printed collateral, and giveaways.

Operations and Administration 

  • Maintain the trade show calendar and ensure accurate event documentation.

  • Track invoices, submit vendor forms, and handle internal system requests.

  • Update company profiles, product listings, and assets within event platforms. 

  • Support continuous improvement by finding opportunities to streamline processes and improve event effectiveness.

 

YOU HAVE: 

  • 5+ years of experience in trade show, events, or experiential marketing roles.  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead multiple events concurrently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.  

  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
