Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Trader to ensure continuous, accurate market activity in fast-moving environments. This role is essential for maintaining trading integrity, responding rapidly to new information, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working atypical hours (including overnights, weekends and holidays) and has a foundational understanding of trading concepts and decision science.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor trading activity to detect incorrect fair values, malfunctioning models, or anomalies requiring immediate intervention
  • Track real-time news sources and proactively adjust fair values or execute trades as impactful information emerges
  • Adjust model or system parameters in response to market conditions, liquidity issues, or evolving trading situations
  • Identify unusual behaviors, inefficiencies, or edge cases, documenting them and surfacing optimization opportunities for research and development teams
  • Manually manage trading gaps arising from technical failures, model inadequacies, or unexpected market events to maintain operational continuity
  • Escalate production or system issues promptly to technical support teams, providing clear descriptions and context
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as role demands, with all team members expected to provide occasional coverage
