At Sigma - Los Altos Foods, we're looking for an innovative and results-driven TPM Engineer to help shape the future of our manufacturing operations. If you're passionate about Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and solving complex operational challenges, this is an opportunity to lead meaningful improvements that directly impact production performance.

In this highly visible role, you'll partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and build a culture of continuous improvement throughout our facility.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the implementation and long-term success of TPM and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute TPM master plans aligned with business objectives and operational goals.
  • Analyze KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive sustainable performance improvements.
  • Improve equipment reliability, reduce waste, and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to execute improvement projects.
  • Conduct TPM audits, health checks, and follow-up activities to ensure successful program execution.
  • Develop and deliver TPM and Lean Manufacturing training to production and maintenance teams.
  • Coordinate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and pillar meetings while tracking action plans to completion.
  • Prepare executive reports, dashboards, presentations, and audit documentation.
  • Support budgeting and planning for TPM initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and external consultants to implement best practices across the facility.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience.
  • At least 1 year of engineering or advanced mechanical experience.
  • Six Sigma Certification (Yellow, Green, or Black Belt).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of TPM experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of engineering or advanced mechanical experience.
  • Experience in food or dairy manufacturing.
  • TPM Certification.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, or electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
