Description

Your top priority as a Total Rewards Analyst is to support the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs with a focus on accuracy, operational excellence and employee experience. Compensation responsibilities include supporting base and variable pay programs through market pricing, job evaluation, eligibility monitoring, and execution of annual merit and incentive cycles. Benefits responsibilities include executing compliance testing, managing regulatory reporting and providing support for open enrollment and benefits administration. Key Responsibilities:

Compensation
  1. Administer compensation programs, including annual merit and incentive cycles
  2. Prepare and validate data files; perform eligibility checks and calculations
  3. Conduct job evaluations and market pricing using established methodologies
  4. Maintain salary structures and support benchmarking analyses
  5. Administer variable pay plans (eligibility tracking, reporting, payout support)
  6. Respond to employee, manager, and HR inquiries regarding compensation practices
  7. Support compensation compliance and continuous process improvement

Benefits
  1. Ensure compliance with regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.)
  2. Manage required filings (PCORI, CMS, federal, state, and local)
  3. Support open enrollment activities and ongoing benefits administration
  4. Maintain and configure benefits systems
  5. Manage payroll integration, data feeds, and leave administration processes

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management:
  1. Perform benefits compliance testing (e.g., non-discrimination testing)
  2. Support internal and external audits
  3. Maintain accurate records and reporting
  4. Ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements

Systems, Data & Analytics
  1. Support HRIS configuration and system administration
  2. Maintain data integrity, file management, and reporting processes
  3. Conduct advanced data analysis (primarily in Excel)
  4. Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations

Process Improvement & Optimization
  1. Identify opportunities to improve compensation and benefits processes
  2. Enhance tools, documentation, and workflows
  3. Support continuous improvement initiatives

Communication & Stakeholder Support
  1. Respond to employee, manager, and HR partner inquiries
  2. Develop presentations, guides, and communications materials
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
  4. Provide updates and insights to leadership

Teamwork & General Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective program delivery
  2. Keep leadership informed of key developments and issues
  3. Support team coordination and shared responsibilities
  4. Perform other duties as assigned

What you will bring to the table:

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years in compensation & benefits

Technical Knowledge
