This Opportunity

WSP is currently seeking a Data Analyst to support our Tolling Operations Team!

This position will be based out of Richmond, VA.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, interpret, and analyze data that supports strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate is skilled in transforming complex data into meaningful insights, creating reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business performance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and helping organizations make informed decisions through actionable insights.
Your Impact
  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.

Compensation:
Expected Salary: $75,000 - $95,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
