Account Executive A (Americas)What will you do?
A day in the life of an Account Executive at Timberland looks a little like this.
You will represent the Timberland brand in the Industrial and Casual marketplace with independent specialty retailers across the Upper Midwest (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Dakotas, Iowa) based out of the Minneapolis, MN area.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Focus on end-to-end ownership of assigned territory aimed at sustainable growth and profitability through the entire sales process (planning, sell-in, and sell-through)
Manage order book throughout each season by converting on-order shipments and monitoring inventory across the territory to drive at-once sales and achieve annual sales target
Identify challenges and opportunities within the territory and communicate to management while actively finding solutions
Routinely provide marketplace insights and feedback (competition, account feedback, new business, account/ territory health, etc.) through focused territory travel and accounts visits
Effectively communicate and partner with other business units (Customer Service, Planning, Merchandising, and Marketing) within the Timberland Americas team
Execute brand and marketplace strategies as directed by management (allocation, product segmentation, launches, etc.)
Develop and support strong partnerships with customers and consumers across designated territory/accounts
Maintain updated account records providing updates to management and internal stakeholders
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to:
Identify root causes using appropriate analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Develop practical solutions with limited information by applying prior experience, precedent, and sound judgment.
Evaluate available information, interpret findings, and determine the most appropriate course of action, including decisions that may have longer-term impact.
Anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to address them.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with availability to work nights and weekends as needed for events and promotional activities.
Location requirement: This is a fully remote position; however, candidates should reside in the Minneapolis region to effectively support the assigned client base.

Hiring Range:
$92,000.00 USD - $115,000.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, orcommissionpotential.
