Job Summary

This job serves as a strategic advisor in software-defined network engineering, anticipating technical challenges and contributing to organizational strategy. It encompasses leading project teams, providing expert guidance on network design, and influencing the development of network services. The role is pivotal in steering the company's network engineering efforts towards long-term business success.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leading technical training programs for operations and engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and expertise sharing
  • Overseeing the implementation of Universal Customer Premise Equipment in the inventory system, including meticulous IP and CLLI code management
  • Orchestrating network service provisioning on the SDN platform, ensuring robust configurations for a suite of advanced networking services
  • Providing escalated technical leadership and strategic direction during the Service Delivery process in collaboration with Customer Project Managers
  • Supervising the testing and activation of new uCPE and Wireless Backup circuits, guaranteeing operational excellence in production environments
  • Recommending and implementing innovative practices and procedures to enhance network operations and service delivery
  • Developing comprehensive test and acceptance criteria for network elements, setting industry-leading standards for quality and reliability
  • Leading in-depth troubleshooting efforts for complex IP networking and security issues, delivering solutions that drive customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic network problems, coordinating patches and upgrades to maintain service integrity
  • Directing strategic initiatives to ensure alignment of new products and features with technical specifications and market needs
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
