Overview

The Threat Intelligence function within the Chief Security Office works to proactively identify, assess, and communicate physical and cyber threats against Deutsche Bank. This position will primarily focus on physical threat intelligence across the Americas, supporting the Bank's ability to protect its people, facilities, operations, business travelers, reputation, and overall resilience.

As the Physical Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will monitor geopolitical, regional, and local security developments and translate complex information into timely, actionable intelligence. You will collect and evaluate information from open-source reporting, intelligence vendors, professional networks, government and law enforcement contacts, and internal stakeholders. Your analysis will support executive decision-making, security operations, crisis and incident management, business continuity, and broader risk mitigation activities.

What You'll Do
  • Define regional intelligence requirements and collect threat information from internal and external sources
  • Monitor geopolitical developments and physical threats affecting employees, facilities, travelers, and business operations
  • Analyze intelligence to assess threat probability, business impact, and recommended mitigation actions
  • Deliver risk assessments, threat profiles, alerts, reports, and executive briefings to key stakeholders
  • Provide timely intelligence support during crises, security incidents, and business continuity events
  • Collaborate with global security teams, manage intelligence vendors, and strengthen intelligence capabilities and standards


Skills You'll Need
  • Strong knowledge of corporate intelligence, geopolitics, regional security risks, and the intelligence lifecycle
  • At least three years of relevant security or intelligence experience within a corporate, military, police, or operational environment
  • Proven ability to analyze threats and produce clear intelligence reports, executive briefings, and practical risk-mitigation recommendations
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience, fluency in English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; additional languages and external intelligence networks are advantageous

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $120,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
