JOB DESCRIPTION:Therapy Development Manager, DBS - U.S.The OpportunityThe Therapy Development Manager works in partnership with the US sales organization to help establish new accounts, sustain existing accounts, rescue endangered accounts, engage and develop KOLs, launch new products, platforms and indications, and provide advanced technical support for difficult cases. Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines (enabling technologies). The Therapy Development Manager additionally works in partnership with the global marketing organization to support new hire, advanced, and field-based sales training, global conferences, global product launches, professional education events, and provides expert feedback to upstream marketing, downstream marketing and business development organizations.
What You'll Work On - Establish new accounts by helping to build DBS programs from the ground up or capturing business from competitive strongholds through interactions with HCP's, hospital administration and surgical support staff.
- Sustain existing accounts by providing bridging expert procedural support and accelerated backfill training when tenured sales representatives leave the organization.
- Rescue endangered accounts by performing a situational analysis, identifying potential issues and enhancements, and implementing a corrective or mitigative action plan.
- New hire training, advanced training, field-based technology training and support.
- Lead US launch of new products, platforms and indications.
- Advanced procedural, programming and troubleshooting support.
- Support business development initiatives, customer experience visits, professional education events, and clinical study execution.
- Provide feedback to upstream & downstream marketing teams.
- Global product launch support.
- Global conference presence and KOL engagement.
- Competitive intelligence and blunting.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related scientific/medical field, marketing, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device product areas or related disciplines, including direct sales experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in therapy-specific role
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed to support business activities. (50%)

The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 - $198,700.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
