Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $81,000 - $93,500 annually, set in good faith based on the responsibilities of the role, qualifications, and market conditions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance use disorder and addiction treatment and a passion for helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. In this role, you will support clients ages 18+ in breaking the cycle of addiction and returning to their families and communities from a place of resilience. This position provides therapeutic support, guidance, and counseling across multiple levels of care, ensuring clients receive the tools and resources necessary for sustainable recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of intake assessments following pre-assessment.
  • Development of individualized service and treatment plans.
  • Presentation of clients in treatment team meetings.
  • Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients.
  • Facilitating didactic lectures, client groups, and other therapeutic activities.
  • Maintaining appropriate contact with relevant individuals involved in client care.
  • Collaborating closely with Case Management and other interdisciplinary team members throughout the client's treatment and recovery journey.
  • Supporting discharge planning and referral coordination.
  • Meeting all documentation requirements for accreditation standards, state licensing guidelines, and billing purposes in a timely and complete manner.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education / Credentials

  • Master's degree preferred in Addictions Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
  • License preferred: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP (or under supervision).

Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in human services, substance use disorder treatment, or a related setting.
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for clinical documentation.
  • Experience facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions.

Knowledge / Skills

  • Familiarity with 12-step recovery programs.
  • Strong clinical documentation skills.
  • De-escalation and crisis intervention skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

  • Direct care clinical position providing counseling and therapeutic services across residential and structured outpatient levels of care (ASAM 3.5, 3.1, and 2.5).
  • Licensed Clinicians or Supervisee (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSATP):
  • Full-time scheduling aligned with residential programming needs.
    • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
