Are you an experienced Texas family law attorney who still loves helping people - but no longer wants the pressure, conflict, and exhaustion of litigation? Are you a compassionate, good listener, yet able to control a conversation to stay on track?

South Texas Family Law is seeking a highly personable, experienced Family Law Consultation Attorney to meet with potential new clients in our San Antonio office. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys one-on-one conversations, guiding families through difficult situations, and helping people take the next step - without going to court.

You will conduct consultations, answer legal questions, build trust with prospective clients, and help them decide whether our firm is the right fit for their case.

This is a steady, professional, in-office position with regular hours and no litigation responsibilities. You will be expected to handle up to 7 consultations per day and follow up with engagement contracts, but you are not expected to work nights or weekends.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $85,000
  • Performance bonuses for retained clients
  • Multiple bonuses will be the norm if you meet expectations

Expected total compensation after bonuses: approximately $115,000+

Responsibilities

Schedule
• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• In-person position in San Antonio, Texas
• Consultations are conducted both in person, by telephone, and by Zoom

Qualifications

Requirements
• MUST be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• Minimum 5 years of Texas family law experience
• Strong people skills and emotional intelligence
• Comfortable speaking with people in crisis
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Organized and dependable
• Must be willing to appear on video for marketing purposes
• Prior sales or consultation experience is a major plus
