Mandatory Qualifications: - Level III- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Tester
- More than seven (7) years of work experience in quality assurance, managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization, while reporting and presenting to stakeholders and senior management.
- A minimum of one year working in an Integrated Eligibility System Program in various workstreams including EECM in a Health and Human Service setting.
Desirable Qualifications: - At least seven (7) years of work experience developing testing products including test plans, test cases, automated test scripts and defect reporting documentation.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with defect tracking and test planning tools such as Jira, Jira-related plug-ins or Client Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in java scripting or related programing languages within the context of developing automated test script solutions.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with creating reports and dashboards for test metrics using Jira or other tool.
Travel/Part-Time/Duties/Responsibilities: - Working for the QA Lead, the Tester Level 3 will manage and oversee quality assurance activities initially related to the Fair Hearings System then move on to other program areas within IES.
- Manage adherence to the IES Program Level testing strategy, quality assurance processes, artifacts and tools;
- Manage quality assurance team and deliverables;
- Liaison with relevant stakeholders, including subject matter experts, users, executive teams, etc. to ensure that projects meet business needs;
- Oversee adherence to the IES Program Level testing strategy, quality assurance processes, artifacts and tools;
- Review deliverables from vendors to ensure system testing and delivery are in line with business needs, as described in the requirements;
- Produce reports to Management and Project teams regarding status of Testing Efforts;
- Manage test environments, test accounts and test data according to best practices.
- Manage blended teams of State and vendor resources. Other duties as assigned.
Consultants may be eligible to telecommute for more than 50% of their work hours, up to and including 100% remote work. Telecommuting arrangements require direct manager approval and are subject to change based on program needs. Consultants approved for 100% remote work must attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office and be available for major milestone meetings as needed.
