Overview

In this role the Business Intelligence Manager leads our BI team and drives the development of our global business intelligence solutions. The BI Manager has the following primary responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies and solutions that support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Manage a team of BI professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Design, develop and maintain IBM Cognos Analytics reports, dashboards, and cubes to provide actionable insights and drive informed decision-making
  • Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in business intelligence solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements and ensure that the BI solutions meet the needs of the business
  • Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of business intelligence solutions, including identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Preparation and delivery of effective presentations is essential.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Degree in IT, Engineering, similar field, or experience
  • 8-10 Years in Information Technology
  • 3 or more years in a leadership capacity
  • Cognos (v11 preferred) experience required
  • MS SQL experience required
  • Infor M3 ERP experience a plus
