Full Job Description
Test Fixture Build Project Manager

Organization/Group:

Test Station and Fixture build team. Working the TEAL lab.
  • Key responsibilities:
  • Program Manage Test fixture and mechanical assembly.
  • Provide scheduling and meet deadlines as per overall build requirements.
  • Provide guidance and scheduling support to external contractors for development and build of test fixtures.
  • Mechanical capable role to support Test Station Fixture Assembly.
  • Test station documentation, builds, inventory management, equipment tracking, PO requests and tracking
  • Test Station assembly, documentation & maintenance
  • Mechanical assembly of circuit packs and test jigs, both following work instructions and creating work instructions
  • Equipment tracking & escalation of material shortages to trigger new orders
  • Install and solder electronic components
  • Removal and reinstallation of components
  • Addition of wire barnacles, PCB trace modifications and other board upgrades as directed by designers and test engineers.
  • Visual inspection of PCBA and repair work to confirm compliance with corporate and industry standard
  • Provide feedback on assembly issues to assist engineers in development of shop instructions for factory deployment.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to provide feedback to team members in a clear and constructive manner.
  • Work with cross functional teams and CM's around the world to support completing NPI tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Willingness to engage others to achieve results
  • Skills to schedule and plan activities around project completion.
