Full Job Description
Territory Sales Manager - Jacksonville, Florida
The Opportunity

Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG), the nation's largest SealMaster/GemSeal franchisee, is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to lead an established Jacksonville-area market.

This is a hands-on field sales role for someone who knows how to own a territory-not someone waiting to be taught the fundamentals of outside sales. You will inherit important customer relationships, protect existing business, develop new accounts, and serve as a trusted resource to contractors, municipalities, property managers, and commercial customers throughout Northeast Florida.

PMG manufactures and distributes asphalt sealers, coatings, crack-sealing materials, pavement-marking products, and application equipment used on roads, parking lots, and airports across the country.
What You'll Own
  • Manage and grow an established geographic territory across Jacksonville and the surrounding market.
  • Build relationships with pavement-maintenance contractors, paving and sealcoating companies, municipalities, and commercial customers.
  • Prospect for new business while expanding opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct customer meetings, jobsite visits, product demonstrations, equipment demonstrations, and training.
  • Help customers troubleshoot product applications and equipment, including sealcoat machines, crack-sealing units, pumps, hoses, burners, and line stripers.
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, enter orders, and manage an organized sales pipeline.
  • Coordinate with branch, operations, production, customer-service, and leadership teams.
  • Take ownership of customer communication when product, pricing, delivery, or equipment issues arise.
What Makes You a Strong Fit

You have proven success in outside sales, territory management, contractor sales, construction materials sales, industrial sales, equipment sales, or business development involving tangible products.

You should bring:
  • Experience independently managing a geographic territory or substantial book of business.
  • Evidence of both new-account acquisition and existing-account growth.
  • Strong organization, judgment, communication, and follow-through.
  • Comfort working in contractor yards, shops, branches, jobsites, and active field environments.
  • The ability to learn technical products and explain them in practical terms.
  • A valid driver's license and comfort towing trailers or learning to transport and demonstrate equipment safely.

Direct pavement-maintenance, asphalt, coatings, or municipal sales experience is valuable, but strong candidates from contractor supply, construction products, equipment rental, waterworks, industrial distribution, concrete, roofing, flooring, or related markets are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits

PMG offers:
  • Annual salary of $90,000-$100,000
  • Company vehicle and company-provided cell phone
  • Medical plan options, including PPO and HSA-eligible coverage
  • Employer HSA contributions
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance
  • Company-paid short- and long-term disability coverage
  • Employee Assistance Program and additional voluntary benefits

Experienced territory professionals who enjoy solving real field problems and taking responsibility for an important market are encouraged to apply.
