Description: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Telecommunication Technical Analyst 3 to support advanced telecommunications and SIGINT operations within a mission-focused environment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, collection management, mission support, and system optimization across modern telecommunications and intelligence collection systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of digital communications technologies, collection operations, and SIGINT systems while collaborating with stakeholders across the Intelligence Community to support critical mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate, configure, test, demonstrate, and train users on telecommunications and SIGINT collection systems in operational and field environments.
- Optimize and task collection resources to support mission requirements, ensuring efficient execution of collection strategies and priorities.
- Conduct technical studies, analyses, and evaluations of telecommunications systems and mission needs, providing recommendations to leadership and decision-makers.
- Support collection operations by configuring customer collection systems, troubleshooting data flow issues, assessing system performance, and maintaining collection effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Intelligence Community partners, customers, and vendors to validate collection requirements, coordinate collection priorities, and improve mission outcomes.
- Generate collection assessments, technical reports, metrics, and analytical products related to communications signals and collection activities.
- Provide operational support for system upgrades, installations, prototyping efforts, and deployment of new collection capabilities.
- Mentor junior personnel, contribute to training development, and provide technical guidance on SIGINT collection methodologies and telecommunications technologies.
Qualifications: - Fifteen (15) years of experience supporting SIGINT collection systems, telecommunications platforms, or closely related technical environments.
- At least seven (7) years of experience with modern digital, optical, internet, packet-switched, or telephony communication systems and protocols.
- Hands-on expertise in collection system tasking, configuration, normalization, signal analysis, system health monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. SIGINT System, collection and processing environments, telecommunications technologies, and intelligence operations.
Desired Skills: - Experience managing collection operations, collection priorities, and mission-focused tasking activities in support of intelligence objectives.
- Ability to analyze communications signals, assess collection effectiveness, and develop technical recommendations and reporting products.
- Experience supporting system integration, prototyping, deployment, upgrades, and operational assessments of collection capabilities.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership, customer engagement, training, and mentorship while collaborating across Intelligence Community organizations.
