Description
An employee in this class serves as a lead for the Information Technology digital workplace and digital experience team to ensure efficient IT operations and related support. Work is distinguished by the managing of end-user and office computer equipment programs and elements of the application portfolio, while providing program management for IT user support programs, including daily supervision of the team. Work involves the ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with system users throughout the Health Department. Performs related work as required. General supervision is received from the Assistant Director of Information Technology.
This full-time position works a 5-day work week, 37.5 hours per week, with office hours are from 8:00am- 4:30 pm; eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities
As a Technology Services Manager you will:
-Lead and supervise tech support program team in planning, development, managing, execution and delivery of IT projects
-Develop and manage related policies and protocols and leverages the IT service management system in doing so.
-Leads the department's digital workplace and digital experience strategies. Interact with internal staff at all levels of the agency through the course of providing support and leadership when staff issues require escalation.
-Resolve conflicts, completes performance evaluations and assign work responsibilities within the team.
-Identifies and resolves employee relations and performance issues; provides appropriate leadership and direction and promotes positive morale, creativity and teamwork among staff; evaluates employee productivity and sets clear goals and expectations.
-Prevents issues through preventive maintenance to hardware and systems and ensures cross-departmental issues are resolved.
-Maintains appropriate knowledge and skills on information current to the field and assigned responsibilities.
-Manage and maintain staff & office computer equipment by developing roadmaps and equipment lifecycles; have accurate asset information for the fleet to allow a sequence of activities to be properly completed
Requirements
Requirements
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; a minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role or an equivalent combination of training and experience. CCNA, ITIL and Microsoft Certificates are a plus.
