Job Title & Role Description:

The Technology Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the successful completion of technology projects within Upward Health. This role involves planning, managing, and executing development of projects for teams across the Technology Department, assisting those teams with managing their backlogs and meeting high standards of quality. The Project Manager will work closely with various teams, including software engineers, data analysts, QA testers, and executives, to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of key initiatives. They will play a key role in facilitating communication and synergy between cross-functional teams and ensuring that projects meet the evolving needs of the business.

Skills Required:
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale technology projects, including software development, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder goals. Leading and managing IT projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean to optimize project execution and team productivity.
  • Proficiency in project management frameworks such as PMBOK and Six Sigma, applying these methodologies to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Advanced technology proficiency, including experience with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and other relevant project management software.
  • Background in managing technology projects within regulated industries, understanding their specific challenges and compliance needs.
  • Background in healthcare systems, electronic health records (EHR), and healthcare IT and data standards is preferred.
