Technology Manager

Role Information
Location:Columbus Metro Region (Columbus, New Albany, Reynoldsburg)

You, Our Ideal Candidate
The Technology Manager serves as a strategic technology leader, operational partner, and culture champion for Life Enriching Communities. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional technology services that support associates, residents, customers, and organizational priorities while fostering a culture aligned with LEC's Mission, Vision, CORE values, The LEC Way, and Five Pillars. The Technology Manager leads local technology operations, develops and supports technology associates, advances cybersecurity and business continuity efforts, and partners with operational leaders to leverage technology as a tool for improving resident experience, associate engagement, operational excellence, growth, and stewardship. This position balances hands-on leadership with strategic thinking, ensuring technology remains reliable, secure, innovative, and focused on serving people. The Technology Manager believes technology is not merely infrastructure and support-it is a means of enriching lives, enabling exceptional service, and advancing LEC's mission.

Technology Leadership
  • Lead day-to-day technology operations across assigned communities and business functions.
  • Ensure reliable delivery of technology services, infrastructure, telecommunications, business applications, and end-user support.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to identify opportunities where technology can improve operational performance and resident outcomes.
  • Support enterprise technology initiatives, system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation projects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and responsible technology adoption.
  • Promote effective use of Microsoft 365, AI-enabled tools, collaboration platforms, and emerging technologies.

Associate Experience
  • Create an environment where associates feel valued, supported, engaged, and empowered.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing technology team members.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching conversations, and career development planning.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of technology associates.

Resident & Customer Experience
  • Ensure technology services contribute positively to resident and customer experiences.

  • Support resident-facing technology initiatives and educational opportunities when appropriate.

Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Promote a strong security-first culture while maintaining an exceptional user experience.
  • Support HIPAA, privacy, security, compliance, and risk-management initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate controls, processes, and safeguards are maintained across technology systems.
  • Participate in business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency preparedness planning.
  • Support cybersecurity awareness and education throughout the organization.

Operational Excellence
  • Monitor service levels, ticket trends, project progress, and operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain measurable goals aligned with LEC's Five Pillars.
  • Seek opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery.
  • Manage assigned budgets, technology assets, vendor relationships, and procurement activities.
  • Utilize data to drive decisions and support continuous process improvement across the organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Five or more years of progressive technology leadership experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology environments, Microsoft 365, networking, telecommunications, business applications, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence across departments.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into understandable business language.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience with IT service management, project management, and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including HIPAA, cybersecurity best practices, and risk management principles.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation and organizational technology adoption initiatives.
