Land Administration and Division Order capabilities-pairing deep functional expertise with technology-enabled delivery to improve ownership accuracy, reduce cycle time, and strengthen compliance across royalties and payments.
Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Consultant, you will:
- Support discovery and requirements gathering across Land and Division Order processes, including title and ownership verification, royalty calculation and distribution, suspense handling, and payee maintenance
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support future-state process design to improve ownership reliability, change processing, and audit readiness
- Contribute to delivery artifacts such as process maps, data dictionaries, test scenarios, defect documentation, and cutover support materials
- Partner with technical teams to support configuration and validation of Land and Division Order platforms (experience with Quorum Land System (QLS) and/or SAP preferred)
- Support data conversion and quality activities, including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and exception resolution
- Assist with reporting and analytics validation for operational and compliance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Land, Division Order, Revenue Accounting, Legal, Regulatory, IT, and Operations
Skills and attributes for success- Practical experience in Oil & Gas Land Administration and/or Division Order
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery
To qualify for the role, you must have- 3-7+ years of Oil & Gas experience with a strong emphasis on Land Administration and/or Division Order
- Experience supporting ownership setup and maintenance, ownership changes, suspense resolution, and title/curative workflows
- Exposure to technology-enabled initiatives such as system implementation, optimization, data conversion, testing, or stabilization
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Ideally, you'll also have- Experience with Quorum Land System (QLS) and/or SAP in upstream environments
- Prior consulting experience or experience working on cross-functional project teams

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $97,300 to $178,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $116,700 to $202,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
