Full Job Description

You Are:

A growth focused sales professional who has successfully created consistent and positive impact through year-on-year business expansion.  You know – and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated approach leveraging a combination of knowledge of the Energy, Chemicals, Natural Resources, and/or Utilities industries coupled with solutions applying Technology as a foundation to deliver all our services. As a Sales Capture Senior Manager or Associate Director, you will be responsible to originate, shape, sell and close large deals that are single or multi-service which are profitable to Accenture and valuable to our clients.


The Work:

Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs. Interacts with senior client stakeholders and Accenture leadership to shape and drive strategic pursuits. Defines pursuit strategies, develops compelling client messaging, and builds trusted executive relationships. Brings differentiated, industry‑leading perspectives leveraging AI‑enabled capabilities across technology strategy, data and AI, application development and management, and infrastructure services. Demonstrates strong proficiency in cloud and AI platforms to shape and deliver scalable, business‑driven solutions. Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Operates within large teams and directs specific team sales activities. Travel may be required for this role. 


Location Preference: NYC/ Philadelphia


The amount of travel will vary from 25 to 75% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in selling complex technology services.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ Sales Pursuit Management experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in direct sales with quota, preferably in excess of $15M+
  • Minimum 2 years in Chemicals & Natural Resources industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong financial Acumen and complex deal shaping experience.
  • Experience working with G2000 customers.
  • ​Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management.
  • Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian.
  • High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility and character.



Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
