Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to bridge client's functional and technical requirements at the module level by assisting in outlining technical specifications, performing basic configuration, and troubleshooting initial system issues.

Areas of Responsibility        Â

Requirement Gathering-Understand the functional requirements and assist in translating these into technical specifications.

Configuration and Customisation-"Assist in performing coding, configuration, and minor customisations as per defined design and development standards."

Technology Harmonisation-Support integration testing by validating interface behaviour and identifying basic issues.

Troubleshooting and optimisation-Support troubleshooting activities and help resolve basic technical issues related to performance or configuration of a specific module.

Documentation-Assist in preparing user documentation, configuration notes, and testing artefacts for a specific module.

-Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for GFiber systems and networking devices, including Routers, BNGs, OLTs, and GPON/XGSPON. (3y of experience)
- Validate performance, scalability, and reliability of service provider networking solutions. (3y of experience at least)
- Work with vendors and other teams for NPI
- Identify, debug, and resolve complex issues.
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, automating networking devices (3y of experience)
- Testing experience with GPON, XGS PON, OLT, Routers and Switches (3y of experience)
- Automation coding (2y of experience)
- Experience with testing carrier-grade networking devices (2y of experience)
- Experience with L2/L3 protocols(Ethernet, VLANs, IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, ISIS) (3y of experience)
- Experience with traffic generators and analyzers tools such as Ixia

Mandatory Skills: Cisco Routing and Switching.

Experience: 5-8 Years.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
