Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.
Basic Qualifications- Experience and knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers and/or Function Generators
- Experience with electonics testing equipment
- Experience with electrical harnesses or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience reading engineering drawings and/or following test procedures
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills- Demonstrated ability to complete routing work instructions and complete jobs in new lines of work or special assignments with detailed work instructions
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience in Assembly, Test and/or Launch Operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead/supervise lower level technicians
- Demonstrated ability to mentor/train lower level technicians
- Demonstrated technical communication skills
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $60300.00 - $112100.00
