Technical Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and other key locations.
The Technical Training SME will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to engineer cutting-edge capabilities and serve as the foundational pillar for our program's educational initiatives, bridging the gap between complex operational requirements and classroom execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating employee training plans and programs to support organizational cyber needs.
- Monitoring training programs, assessing operational needs, and modifying existing curriculum to increase efficiency and success.
- Providing subject matter guidance to associates, colleagues, and customers on complex technical challenges.
- Making technical recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive program innovation.
- Integrating industry best practices to achieve offensive and defensive cyber capabilities and training objectives.
- Adapting departmental plans and setting priorities to meet service and operational challenges.
- Identifying and resolving moderately complex technical problems across low-level software development and cyber operations.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years, Master's Degree with 10+ years, or Doctorate Degree with 8+ years of experience in developing and/or leading offensive/defensive cyber operations and technical training.
- Demonstrated evidence of training pipeline completion, instructional hours, certifications, or direct operational experience.
- In-depth conceptual and technical knowledge in offensive cyber operations (OCO) and defensive cyber operations (DCO).
- Ability to adapt operational plans and set priorities to meet service and operational challenges.
- Proven track record of guiding, influencing, and persuading team members and key stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% annually to support assignment locations.
Preferred Qualifications:- Prior military-style technical training and curriculum delivery experience.
- Experience conducting low-level software development within cyber environments.
- Proven capability to bridge complex technical requirements into actionable classroom execution.
Clearance Requirements:- US Citizenship is required
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office or classroom to access training equipment, machinery, and instructional materials.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering technical presentations or classroom instruction; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $148,200.00-$263,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
