Full Job Description
Description

Are you the person on the floor everyone comes to when they want it done right the first time? Do you get a charge out of taking everything in your head and turning it into something the next person can actually follow? Would you rather build a training program from the ground up than inherit someone else's? Do you take quiet pride in coaching a new hire until the work finally clicks for them? Are you just as at home wiring up a station as you are standing in front of a group teaching it?

If this sounds like you, then we need to talk...

Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles and mobile healthcare units, is seeking a Master Technical Facilitator to join our Learning & Development team. Reporting to our Learning & Development Supervisor, this role will be the hands-on training presence inside our Manufacturing Training Center - helping build it, then running it day to day. The work directly shapes how quickly and how well every new builder is ready to put life-saving vehicles on the road.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Master Technical Facilitator Look Like?
  • Participates actively in the setup and buildout of the Manufacturing Training Center, including bay configuration, equipment staging, station setup, and visual-aid installation.
  • Walks the floor and the Training Center bays, coaching new hires through hands-on tasks until the work clicks.
  • Sits down with seasoned SMEs to pull apart how a station really runs, then turns that knowledge into clear work instructions.
  • Films station demonstrations and builds Dozuki procedures that become the backbone of the curriculum.
  • Runs competency evaluations, signs off on L1-L4 progressions, and logs results in Docebo.
  • Fires up the demo ambulance for immersive training sessions before trainees ever touch the live floor.
  • Spots skill gaps in real time and feeds them back to the L&D Supervisor for curriculum tweaks.
  • Keeps the Training Center clean, organized, and ready - every tool and station set up to standard.
  • Huddles with production supervisors to make sure training priorities match what the floor actually needs.

Required Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
  • 3+ years in technical training, workforce development, or production leadership.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of fabrication, assembly, electrical systems, and production workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, and develop people in a hands-on production setting.
  • Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Technical or Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Lean / Six Sigma or train-the-trainer credential (e.g., TWI Job Instruction).
  • Experience with Dozuki, Docebo, or similar work-instruction and LMS platforms.

Skills (to Pay the Bills)

Here's a list of a few competencies that the Master Technical Facilitator at Frazer should have...
  • You know the work - you've built it, fixed it, and can explain exactly why it's done that way.
  • You're a natural teacher who can break a complicated task into steps anyone can follow.
  • You're meticulous about getting it right, because a sloppy work instruction shows up as a defect downstream.
  • You like building something from scratch and then running it with discipline every single day.
  • You stay calm and credible on a loud, busy floor, and people trust your judgment.
  • You see standardized work and Lean thinking as simply how good work gets done.

What's in it for you:
  • A weekly paycheck - you get paid every Thursday.
  • Company shutdown from Christmas through New Year's, plus 10 paid holidays and PTO that starts accruing from day one.
  • On-site micromarket, flexible schedules, and a real work-life balance.
  • Free financial wellness classes plus professional development and skills training.
  • 401k with company match, health, dental, and disability coverage.
  • A culture built on honesty, accountability, and continuous improvement - not politics.
