Description

Markon is seeking a Technical Targeting Analyst (Level III) to provide mission-critical support to an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, Virginia. This position will review, analyze, and respond to requests for analytic products covering a broad spectrum of national and global intelligence topics. The Technical Targeting Analyst will leverage technical tools and databases alongside all-source intelligence to identify and develop leads while collaborating across mission partners to support collection and targeting objectives.

 

NOTE: Please be advised that this position requires up to 10% travel both CONUS and OCONUS, approximately quarterly and for periods of up to one week.

Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and respond to requests for intelligence and analytic products across a variety of national and global topics.
  • Leverage technical targeting tools and databases to support intelligence analysis and lead development.
  • Analyze and correlate technical information with all-source intelligence to identify relationships, patterns, and potential leads.
  • Analyze current and emerging intelligence issues in support of customer mission requirements.
  • Develop intelligence reports and other analytic products based on available technical and all-source information.
  • Leverage collection capabilities and dissemination systems in support of targeting and analytic activities.
  • Support the identification and development of targets and networks of intelligence interest.
  • Organize and manage multiple analytic requirements in a dynamic mission environment.
  • Collaborate with analysts, collectors, and mission partners to leverage broader capabilities in support of mission execution.
  • Share intelligence and technical information appropriately across teams and stakeholders.
  • Adapt analytical approaches and priorities in response to dynamic and unexpected customer requirements.
Qualifications

Required:

  • An active TS/SCI with a FSP (preferrably from this client) is required to be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the technical skill and at least 7 years of relevant experience; OR
    • Associate’s degree and at least 9 years of related experience; OR
    • No degree and at least 11 years of related experience.
  • Experience with intelligence collection capabilities and dissemination systems.
  • Experience analyzing current and emerging intelligence issues and developing intelligence reports.
  • Demonstrated experience using technical targeting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected customer requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% CONUS or OCONUS, approximately quarterly and for periods of up to one week.

Desired:

  • Area of Responsibility (AOR)-specific knowledge and experience, including relevant language capability.
  • Background and experience in target network development and exploitation.
Salary RangeUSD $160,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
