Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individual for the position of Technical Solutions Delivery, Associate Director. The Associate Director is part of the Enterprise Data Solutions team based in the US and serves in a hybrid technical analyst role supporting assigned data and analytics initiatives. This role is accountable for partnering with business and technical stakeholders to intake, analyze, document, and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, while also coordinating delivery of select workstreams supporting the Enterprise Data Strategy.

This is a highly technical position that operates with significant independence and autonomy in a matrixed environment, serving as a key bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and analytics partners. The role supports technical intake, requirements discovery, technical backlog management, delivery coordination for select engineering workstreams, and data/reporting initiatives, and may contribute hands-on to BI dashboard development or enhancements when needed. This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Data Solutions Delivery.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to intake, analyze, and document business needs, process flows, data requirements, business rules, and functional specifications for assigned data and analytics initiatives.
  • Translate business questions and operational needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, source-to-target mappings, data definitions, and acceptance criteria to support design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Own and manage the engineering team backlog, including intake, refinement, prioritization support, dependency tracking, and coordination with technical teams to ensure work is appropriately sequenced and ready for execution.
  • Coordinate delivery for select workstreams, tracking progress, surfacing risks and blockers, supporting issue resolution, and helping ensure timely execution in alignment with agreed scope and priorities.
  • Perform targeted data and system analysis using SQL to support requirements clarification, testing, issue investigation, and confidence in delivered outputs.
  • Support BI and reporting initiatives as needed by contributing to dashboard requirements, validating metrics and visualizations, and creating or enhancing dashboards when required to meet business needs.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation including requirements artifacts, process documentation, user stories, test scenarios, release support materials, and/or other delivery documentation as required; contribute to UAT, change management, and post-release operations for assigned initiatives.


Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, with strong experience across technical analysis, delivery coordination, data, analytics, and/or engineering domains.
  • Experience in technical analysis, solutions analysis, business analysis, techno-functional analysis, or similar roles supporting enterprise data and analytics solutions.
  • Demonstrated success translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, process flows, data mappings, and actionable user stories for engineering and delivery teams.
  • Experience managing work intake, backlog refinement, prioritization support, and coordination across stakeholders for small to mid-sized initiatives or workstreams.
  • Ability to coordinate delivery for smaller workstreams, including tracking progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and supporting issue resolution to keep work moving forward.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience performing data analysis, reconciliation, and validation across data-intensive systems and modern data platforms.
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, including the ability to support dashboard enhancements or create dashboards when needed.
  • Strong grounding in data engineering concepts, data architecture, and best practices, with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technical solutioning.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and at least one of the following modern data stacks: Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Airflow, or similar technologies.
  • Hands-on data engineering experience, including building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into enterprise data warehouses, is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational capabilities.
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with ambiguity while balancing requirements ownership, delivery coordination, and hands-on support where needed.


The base salary range for this role is

$161,900.00 - $202,400.00

Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
