Job DescriptionThe Technical Security Manager will oversee the implementation, management, and compliance of physical security measures across Nokia's global real estate portfolio, including offices, data centers, and R&D spaces. This role focuses on safeguarding assets and personnel by applying industry standards such as ASIS and ISO, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to security policies. The position requires hands-on expertise, technical design capabilities, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
The role is part of the Real Estate organization. Reporting line is to the head of Facility Management, Security and Sustainability.
Responsibilities- Implement tailored physical security measures for Nokia facilities, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Collaborate with global safety and security functions to assess and update security frameworks addressing emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct risk assessments aligned with ASIS and ISO standards to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical security systems during facility planning, construction, and renovations.
- Participate in audits and support area managers in preparing for internal and external audits.
- Develop technical security system designs for large-scale implementations across Nokia's diverse real estate holdings.
- Serve as the primary access control software application manager, ensuring system operational availability, data integrity, and privacy.
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to implement security measures and provide guidance and training on physical security protocols.
QualificationsYou have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in physical security management, preferably in a tech company or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of ASIS standards (e.g., ASIS GDL FPSM-2009) and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Hands-on experience with physical security systems such as access control and surveillance platforms.
- Expertise in Lenel, Avigilon, or similar software application management.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Familiarity with physical security requirements for data centers and high-tech facilities.
- Experience with integrated security platforms and advanced surveillance systems.
- Ability to adapt security measures to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
Leadership
- This is an individual contributor role with no formal direct reports.
- Requires the ability to manage virtual teams effectively and enable efficient decision-making.
- Coordination across multiple vendors and stakeholders is a key aspect of the role.
